Educational Assistant Location: G.H. Dawe School August 24, 2026 to June 30, 2027 2 positions, 30 hours weekly each The successful applicant will provide support to students in a K-8 school. The successful candidates may be in either Foundations or Inclusive classrooms, or a blend of both, based on need. Desirable qualifications and attributes: Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent education is an asset Comfortable with both specialized and inclusive programs Experience or training in supporting children with diverse and complex needs or behaviours is preferred Compassionate, patient, and committed to creating a positive learning environment Able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team Strong problem-solving skills Comfortable assisting students with personal care needs, including toileting and lifting as required For more information about the Red Deer Public School District, visit our website at: www.rdpsd.ab.ca This competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is found and will close without notice once a shortlist has been selected.
