The Opportunity
The
Customs Compliance Specialist
is responsible for ensuring full compliance with Canadian and U.S. customs regulations for cross-border shipments. Additionally, the role will support international operations, providing guidance and cost visibility for import/export activities involving other countries.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in customs laws, tariff classification, valuation, and origin requirements, and works closely with internal teams, customs brokers, and government agencies while staying current on regulatory changes.
Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and submit shipping documentation in compliance with customs regulations.
Analyze import and export documentation to determine applicable tariff class
