Support Worker Passionate about providing compassionate care? Join our team as a Support Worker and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young adults aged 2-17. This position offers 24-hour respite care for one or two weekends per month in a host home, based on families' needs. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a spacious home and vehicle that can accommodate a wheelchair. Experience with feeding tubes is also required. Responsibilities: Provide respite care and support with daily activities Administer medications as instructed Prepare meals meeting dietary needs Assist with mobility, transfers, and G-tubes Offer companionship and plan engaging activities Perform light housekeeping Qualifications: Experience in caregiving Knowledge of medication procedures Physical ability to lift and assist Strong communication and caring attitude Confidentiality commitment Requirements: Valid First Aid Recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check CFS Intervention Check Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
