About Hilltop House
Hilltop House is located in Squamish, BC, approximately one hour north of the Vancouver lower mainland and accessible on the scenic Sea to Sky highway. The area hosts an abundance of recreational activities such as mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing and kayaking, as well as a growing arts and culture scene. Hilltop House is a 85-bed long term care facility for seniors with complex needs.
As a Recreation Assistant with VCH you will:
Work in a team-based environment to carry out recreation programs in consultation with the Recreation Therapist.
Organize and oversee patients/clients/residents on outings, coordinating the portering of patients/clients/residents to and from the activity,
demonstrating techniques of recreation activities.
Carry out prescribed adaptations to recreation activities to enable patients/clients/residents to maintain maximum potential for indepen
