Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary:
Northland Fleet Services, a member of LaPrairie Group of Companies, provides full turnkey fleet management services, for light-duty vehicles and heavy-duty equipment, to customers throughout northern British Columbia.
Northland Fleet Services, located in Grande Prairie, AB, is looking for aService Writer.
Responsibilities:
Create and manage work orders and purchase orders for maintenance and repairs on customer and internal units.
Coordinate with technicians to prioritize tasks based on operational needs and unit availability.
Track and document service history, parts usage, and labor hours for each unit.
Communicate and manage with customers regarding repair process, unit status, estimated completion times, and service impacts.
Monitor parts inventory and initiate/manage orders as needed to support scheduled work.
Maintain organization of parts room and storage areas
Conduct physical inventory counts.
Communicate with customers fleet management companies on approval for repairs and repair order status.
Ensure all shop supplies are adequately stocked.
Perform other duties as required.
