Salary:
$130,000 - $165,000 + benefits
Our client, a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, is seeking a
Senior Geotechnical Engineer
to join their growing team in
Abbotsford, British Columbia
. This organization delivers geotechnical, environmental, and materials engineering services to clients across a wide range of sectors including transportation, building construction, municipal infrastructure, land development, water resources, and industrial development.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior engineer who enjoys leading technically challenging projects while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business growth. The role is primarily office-based with periodic field involvement depending on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver geotechnical engineering projects from proposal through to completion.
Prepare proposals, scopes of work, fee estimates, and technical reports.
Conduct or review geotechnical analyses including stability assessments, foundation performance, deformation, and stress analysis using specialized engineering software.
