The position of Parking Attendant is responsible for providing frontline parking services in designated parking areas during daily operations and REAL District events.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Maintain orderly parking facilities by:
Communicating verbally and non-verbally (gestures) with drivers to direct vehicles to appropriate parking areas.
Controlling access to reserved parking areas.
Ensuring drivers obey posted signage for parking restrictions (no parking, accessible parking etc.).
Ensuring drivers park in a way that does not obstruct roadways or block in other vehicles.
Contributes to safe parking facilities by:
Identifying suspected impaired drivers and intervening where appropriate to offer alternative transportation options.
Notifying the Command Centre of suspected impaired drivers in control of vehicles for reporting to law enforcement and communicating vehicle informatio
