Laundry Aide- Extendicare

As a valued member of our housekeeping and maintenance team, you will provide a clean and safe environment to residents as well as staff in accordance with policies, procedures, and work routines.
This position is for our Extendicare Bayview Home, located in 550 Cummer Ave., North York, ON,
Available opportunities include Full-Time/Part-Time/Casual; Day/Evening/Night shifts.
What you’ll be doing
Collects/receives laundry and performs cleaning and drying as per established protocol.
Prepares laundry for distribution
Observes operation of machines and reports malfunctions to Supervisor
Assists in maintaining laundry facilities, equipment, and supplies.
Advises Supervisor of inventory levels of chemicals and linen shortages
Adheres to established department policies, procedures regarding quality assurance, fire safety, environment, and infection control.
