POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of the Reimbursement Specialist/ Patient Access Specialist involves overseeing all aspects of patient enrollment into a Patient Support Program. Additionally, Reimbursement Specialist will perform a reimbursement navigation and coordinate services for patients who have been prescribed the medication by their doctor. The Reimbursement Specialist's responsibilities include assisting physicians and patients with regards to drug coverage, following up on submissions related to obtaining coverage from insurers and ensuring timely access to prescribed treatments.
