Job Title: Team Lead
Job Description
The Team Lead oversees day-to-day warehouse operations in a fast-paced receiving department, ensuring safety, efficiency, quality, inventory accuracy, and customer service objectives are consistently met. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves guiding warehouse team members, monitoring performance and KPIs, and supporting all aspects of receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities.
Responsibilities
Monitor employee performance, conduct, and work quality to ensure all team members meet operational expectations.
Ensure on-time receiving by coordinating daily activities in the receiving department and resolving issues that may impact timelines.
Oversee safety, security, and housekeeping standards, ensuring the warehouse remains neat, secure, and organized at all times.
Assist in inventory management by supporting accurate inventory counts, inventory accuracy initiatives, and related warehouse processes.
Assist in freight booking and dock planning to optimize dock utilization and support efficient product flow.
