Print Technician - Laser Operator
Location:
La Prairie, Quebec

Hours:
Evening, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM
ROLE
Under the supervision of the Production Director, the incumbent is responsible for laser print production and associated quality control. They are also responsible for ensuring a clear understanding of all job requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate multiple laser presses (Xerox Nuvera, Versant, Iridesse or equivalent)
Ensure equipment is functioning properly and perform basic daily maintenance
Set up production jobs (job setup)
Troubleshoot minor issues related to paper, toner, or equipment
Work closely with Xerox technicians
Act as a liaison with programmers for technical matters
Perform approvals (multiple steps) and testing in collaboration with Customer Service
Execute production according to established priorities and report any irregularities
Manage materials required for printing (tests, samples, production runs)
Maintain print quality at all times
Keep work area and equipment clean to ensure optimal print quality
Provide support across shifts and remain available for emergencies and overtime
