Job DescriptionJob Description
The Toxicology Laboratory Technician supports the analytical testing of nicotine, cannabis, and other consumer products to identify and quantify toxicants and related compounds. This role performs sample preparation, operates advanced analytical instruments, and ensures data quality in compliance with Labstat’s ISO 17025 accreditation and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.

Essential Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze samples from tobacco, nicotine, cannabis, and related products to quantify toxicological compounds.
Perform complex extractions, dilutions, and derivatizations following validated methods and SOPs.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments, including LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, HPLC, ICP-MS, and related systems.
Conduct quality control, calibration, and verification procedures to ensure data accuracy and instrument performance.
