Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverlanders Manufacturing is seeking a
Safety Associate
to join our team. This role supports the day‑to‑day health and safety activities across our manufacturing operations and plays an important role in promoting a
safe, compliant, and proactive safety culture
. The Safety Associate works closely with managers, supervisors, Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) members, and employees to help ensure safety programs, training, and procedures are followed consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
Health & Safety Support:
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of company health & safety policies, procedures, and programs.
Support compliance with
WorkSafeBC
, CSA standards, and occupational health & safety regulations.
Assist with maintaining safety documentation, incident reports, and training records.
Inspections & Hazard Identification:
Participate in regular safety inspections of production floors, equipment, and work areas.
Identify hazards and support corrective action tracking and follow‑up.
Assist with ensuring safe work procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and hazardous material handling are followed.
Training & Orientation:
Assist with safety
