Summary
E Construction, a division of N.P.A. is hiring a Logistics Coordinator for the upcoming 2026 construction season!
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the trucking schedule and planning for all jobs occurring within the division. This role works closely with the Superintendents, Foremen and Dispatchers to ensure they are aware of all job material hauling and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate the orientation and filing of qualification records for all hired trucks.
Gather information regarding trucking requirements for company trucks and hire trucks.
Direct and schedule trucking requirements to Dispatcher so they can clearly communicate route and timelines to trucks.
Assist Foremen and Superintendents to plan trucking routes to and through job sites.
Respond to any issues that may arise involving hire truck compliance.
Maintain up to date listing of equipment and assigned drivers/operators.
Purchase inventory for the tool crib and maintain stock levels.
Manage operations logistics to ensure equipment is available when needed.
Must ensure a solid understanding of and comply with the principles of the company’s Code of Ethics.
Must examine situations in light of the principles of the Code of Ethics.
Other labour related duties as required.
Promote, execute, and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, sub-contractors, and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.
Participate as a team member, and contribute towards the success of the organization, which may involve the provision of other technical and administrative support, as required.
Promote a team approach and maintain dialogue with all employees to exchange information and gather ideas.
Qualifications | Requirements
High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
Class 5 driver’s license
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Good verbal and written communication.
Strong organizational skills
Working Conditions
Schedule of Monday to Saturday, with up to 10 hours per day. Overtime is paid in accordance with applicable employment standards legislation.
Work is primarily performed in an indoor setting, which could include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, and extended computer use including exposure to blue-light and wrist dexterity.
Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 10 LBS on a regular basis.
Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
