Automotive Technician

South trail Chrysler is seeking a skilled experienced mechanic to join our service team.

Responsibilities:
Diagnosis and repair vehicles mechanical issues
Perform regular maintenance, brakes, suspension and alignments etc.
Identify, resolve electrical, media system malfunctions
Perform engine, transmission repairs
Documenting well written diagnosis, cause, remedy stories
Maintaining a clean workspace environment according to industry standards and safety guidelines
Keeping logbook documented for warranty repairs
Diesel experience considered an asset but not required
Requirements:
Minimum 1year journeyperson/red seal certification (out of province, cvip certification is an asset but not required)
Solid understanding of automotive operating systems – experience with CDK is an asset
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid Alberta drivers license and clean record
