Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated
Store Clerk & General Labourer
to join our team in North York. This role combines customer service, warehouse support, and general store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
Offer product information (specifications, cooking, storage, and handling instructions)
Assist customers with placing orders and loading purchases (when available)
Operate POS (point-of-sale) system and process payments
Pick and prepare customer orders
Load and unload orders and deliveries
Stock shelves, walk-in freezers, and display units
Assist drivers with deliveries as needed
Organize and manage daily tasks efficiently within store hours
Assemble corrugated boxes and package products
Prepare sales representative samples
Maintain a clean, organized workspace
Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday:
7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday:
7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Paid breaks included
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to
70 lbs
Strong work ethic and time management skills
Team player with a positive attitude
Customer service experience is an asset
Compensation:
$18.50/hour
during training and probation (first 3 months)
