Senior SAP BW ABAP Consultant
Location:
Montreal, QC, Canada – On-site 3 days a week (F2F interview required)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior SAP BW ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BW 7.5 and ABAP development. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and optimizing ABAP solutions in SAP BPC models for data consolidation, reporting, and transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP BW Development & Enhancements
Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW 7.5 data models, transformations, and queries.
Implement BW-ABAP routines (Start, End, Expert, Field routines) for complex transformations.
Develop custom ABAP logic for complex data flows and enhancements.
Debug and enhance BW programs and data flows to improve performance and reliability.
2. Data Management & Reporting Support
Perform data reconciliation, data loads, scheduled jobs, and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies.
Support daily, monthly, and year-end reporting cycles, including scheduled data uploads.
Support master data corrections and adjustments as needed.
Work on data extraction and transformation processes across SAP BW and SAP BPC systems.
3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure system performance, data accuracy, and adherence to SAP best practices.
Required Skills & Expertise
Strong experience with SAP BW 7.5 data models, transformations, and reporting.
Expert-level ABAP programming skills for BW enhancements and customizations.
Experience implementing ABAP logic in SAP BPC for consolidation and reporting solutions.
Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting complex ABAP logic and data flows.
Strong understanding of SAP data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes.
Ability to ensure data accuracy, system performance, and compliance with best practices.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and business teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP BPC consolidation models.
Exposure to performance optimization and tuning in SAP BW.
Experience in end-to-end reporting and data reconciliation cycles.
