Casual Custodians Livingstone Range School Division Livingstone Range School Division is accepting applications for Casual Custodians. A Casual Custodian may be called to cover full-time or part-time absences, assist in projects, or cover extracurricular events such as tournaments that may happen in the evening or on weekends. The Casual Custodian must be able to communicate and interact positively with the public, co-workers, staff, and administration to ensure all needs are addressed at the site. Casual Custodians must be able to work unsupervised. Casual Custodian work may include physical demands, e.g., lifting chairs, moving furniture or boxes of materials, cleaning equipment, and climbing stairs/ladders. The daily work routine involves the use of various chemicals. Typical duties of a Casual Custodian include but are not limited to: Cleaning thoroughly all washrooms, fixtures, and partitions Washing of all desks, counters, doors, windows, etc. All dusting in the school Mopping, vacuuming, and waxing of floors Securing of Division buildings Garbage collection and removal Preventative maintenance – tightening furniture or changing light bulbs Snow and ice removal from walkways
