Job Description
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Senior Systems Management Specialist will be responsible for supporting critical applications and their infrastructure across diverse platforms, including Linux, Windows, and Cloud (On-Prem/Public) environments. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and innovation of RBC’s IT ecosystem, requiring collaboration with internal stakeholders, third-party providers and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with stakeholder needs.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Technical Support:
Manage application support across users using Linux, Windows, and Cloud (On-Prem/Public).
Ensure environmental stability in pre-production and production phases
Develop tools to automate and troubleshoot issues for the application.
Environment Management: Configurations, Security, Maintenance, and Deployments for technologies including Databases, Application Servers & Middleware, Cloud Platforms and Data Storage.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on new initiatives and system support, fostering alignment between IT and Business objectives.
IT Planning & Execution:
Develop detailed plans and estimates for system insta
