Child and Youth Support Worker (summer position)
Location:
Anselma House in Kitchener and Haven House in Cambridge
Status:
Contract Full-Time (35-hour work week)
Dates:
June 29 to August 28, 2026 (9 weeks)
Salary Range:
$20.90 per hour
How do we define a
Child and Youth Support Worker
? The main buckets of work will include;
Providing support to the child and youth program staff in delivering summer program activities including but not limited to;
Shelter programming
Outdoor activities
Off-site trips in the community
Interacting with children, mothers and shelter staff in the delivery of services to the families through the child and youth program.
