General Labourer
Sparksman Transportation is currently looking for a skilled General Labourer to join our team in Fort McMurray.
Sparksman Transportation is a transportation company specializing in School Busing and Charters. We are actively seeking a skilled Labourer with experience with small equipment such as a skid steer and forklift. This position will work to ensure all projects are done safely and on schedule and offers immediate employment with the potential for long-term employment.
Shift:
Monday through Friday, hourly, flexible schedule, up to 30-40 hours perweek
Duration:
3-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension
Location:
Sparksman Transportation Ltd. MacLennan Crescent, Fort McMurray, AB
Compensation:
$30.00 per hour
Responsibilities
Operate all assigned equipment safely and effectively; specifically skid steer and forklift
Maintain equipment by conducting simple preventative maintenance and thorough safety inspections
Assist in the mechanic shop with housekeeping duties and complete general property housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean work environment
Complete safety paperwork and attend meetings when required
