You'll Do:
Reporting directly to the Department supervisor, the successful candidate will be a part of our Production Department.
Work in a variety of areas which may include sorting, stacking, and piling lumber
Handling and lifting materials
Operate production equipment as assigned
Assist other processing workers
Assist with the routine maintenance and cleaning of the sawmill equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and promptly reporting any malfunctions or issues to the team
Other general labourer responsibilities
Repetitive tasks
Strict adherence to company safety standards and follow safe work practices such as lock-out, pre-job hazard assessments, etc.
Stand for extended periods
You Have:
Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
Availability to perform day, afternoon, and night shifts as needed
Good physical condition
Ability to work repetitive tasks
Ability to work as a positive team member
