POSITION SUMMARY
The Emergency Project Manager is responsible for leading all emergency mitigation efforts from first response through stabilization and turnover. This role serves as the on-site authority, ensuring rapid control of loss, execution of drying and containment strategies, and disciplined crew leadership.
This position is critical in protecting early-stage margin by eliminating rework, enforcing standards, and delivering accurate, complete documentation. The Emergency Project Manager operates in high-pressure environments and must balance speed with precision, ensuring safety, compliance, and client confidence at every stage.
Success in this role is defined by the ability to stabilize chaotic environments, lead teams with discipline, and deliver clean, audit-ready project turnover that sets the reconstruction phase up for success.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Establish immediate site control within defined response timeframes upon project assignment
Execute accurate moisture mapping and implement standards-based drying plans
Lead and direct crews to ensure efficient, compliant mitigation execution
Maintain strict containment protocols to prevent cross-contamination and secondary damage
Deliver complete, accurate, and timely daily documentation for all projects
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients during emergency situations
Ensure all work meets safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements
Prevent margin erosion by eliminating rework, waste, and operational drift
Maintain project scope clarity and ensure seamless turnover to reconstruction teams
Achieve audit-ready documentation on all projects to support compliance and incentives
Drive team accountability to meet performance, quality, and timeline expectations
Meet or exceed quarterly performance targets tied to gross profit and operational metrics

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
3+ years of experience in mitigation, restoration, or emergency response leadership roles
Proven experience leading crews in high-pressure environments
Strong knowledge of moisture mapping and drying standards
IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, or equivalent) preferred
Demonstrated experience in documentation systems and reporting standards
Valid driver’s license required
Must be bondable (mandatory requirement)
COMPENSATION STRUCTURE
Base Salary:
$75,000
On-Target Earnings:
$100,000–$120,000+
Incentives:
Quarterly, performance-based (aligned to gross profit, documentation compliance, and team results)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, and work on job sites for extended periods
Comfortable working in confined spaces, varying environmental conditions, and active job sites
Ability to respond to emergency calls, including after-hours or irregular schedules
Must be able to operate company vehicles and travel between job sites
