Weigh and carefully inspect materials brought in by customers, accurately compensating them for their items. Focus on ensuring that this process is carried out efficiently and safely while providing exceptional customer service throughout. Additionally, support the Office Administrator with various clerical tasks and contribute to other duties as assigned, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Must have reliable transportation as the work site is not accessible by city transit.
Job Description and Responsibilities
Operate the scale system to weigh both peddler and commercial customers entering and exiting the yard, ensuring weights, commodities, and pricing are accurate
Operate the scale system to pay peddlers and commercial accounts for materials bought in a timely, professional manner
