As a result of continuously growing our professional team, we have a challenging career opportunity for a Plant MRO/Steel Buyer in our Corporate Purchasing & Production Department. The candidate for this position will be responsible for the procurement of all Purchased parts and services for production for a fast-paced manufacturing facility. We are recruiting for a vacant positionHourly rate = $26 to $30 per hour Responsibilities Procurement of maintenance and operating supplies from our vendors as required on a day to day basis, emphasizing on price, quality and delivery Responsible for following up on overdue or delinquent orders Responsible to sign and correct invoices, when pricing does not agree with the invoice and Purchase Order. Maintain an adequate stock level of maintenance material in stock cribs within the facility Perform regular cycle counts on purchased parts Experience with purchasing steel and/or purchased part is a definite asset Requirements College diploma or University degree in Business Admin with a focus on supply chain or purchas
