Position Overview
The Lighting Coordinator will be responsible for managing lighting specifications, vendor coordination, order tracking, and project documentation from design development through installation. This role requires strong communication skills, technical understanding of decorative and architectural lighting, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, solutions-focused, and passionate about design and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate lighting packages for commercial projects
Review lighting specifications, shop drawings, cutsheets, and technical documentation
Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, designers, and project teams regarding product selection, pricing, lead times, and logistics
Prepare and maintain lighting schedules, procurement trackers, and project documentation
Manage purchase orders, order confirmations, shipment tracking, and delivery coordination
Identify and resolve specification conflicts, substitutions, and installation issues
Support project managers and designers throughout procurement and installation phases
