Position Overview:
As a Freight Billing & Audit Analyst (Demurrage Analyst), you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of freight-related billing and payment processes within our transportation operations. You will review and process demurrage claims daily, validate data through GPS and reporting systems, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve disputes and drive process improvements. This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about data accuracy and operational efficiency.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm
Core Job Functions
Review demurrage requests daily and process for payment and/or billing based on current employee and customer contracts.
Review GPS data to validate billing and pay requests as required.
Collaborate with operations teams to improve the quality of demurrage requests.
Identify patterns and trends of demurrage submission that seems out of place - escalate as needed to leadership team.
Collaborate with IT to improve the quality & accuracy of demurrage reporting & processing.
