Huawei Canada has an immediate internship opening for a Researcher.
About the team:
Founded in 2012, the Noah’s Ark lab has evolved into a prominent research organization with notable achievements in academia and industry. The lab’s mission focuses on advancing artificial intelligence and related fields to benefit the company and society. Driven by impactful, long-term projects, the aim is to enhance state-of-the-art research while integrating innovations into the company's products and services, including LLMs, RL, NLP, computer vision, AI theory, and Autonomous driving.
About the job:
Research in large language models, continual learning, reinforcement learning (RL);
Apply continual learning to real-world applications;
Work close with experienced researchers to design state-of-the-art learning algorithms and architecture that has the potential to be applied to real world challenges;
Publish the research results at top tier conferences.
About the ideal candidate:
Suitable research background in artificial intelligence;
Advanced research experience in Large Language Models/Continual Learning/Reinforcement Learning is an asset;
Working toward a post-graduate degree with a concentration on artificial intelligence, NLP, reinforcement learning, deep learning, or related field;
Hands-on experience with SOTA LLM models;
Proficiency in common programming languages (such as Python, C/C++, etc.).
