Looking for a summer job that’s fun, by the waterfront and gets you access to one of Toronto’s most iconic events? Come join our team at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE)!
The CNE, often affectionately referred to as The Ex, is Canada’s largest community event and one of the top ten agricultural fairs in North America, attracting approximately 1.6 million visitors annually over the course of its 18-day run. With something for everyone, the CNE offers a wide range of attractions and interactive entertainment experiences including: concerts, midway rides and games, shopping, exhibits, tech and gaming hubs, food and wacky treats!

Responsibilities
Engage and greet the pubic throughout the grounds
Remain in character while in costume
Interact with guests (shakes hands and gives hugs)
Maintain safety standards
Required Skills
Friendly disposition
A light theatre background an asset
Required Qualifications
Minimum Age Requirement: 14 years
Must be between 4’10” and 5’6” tall to meet costume requirements
Available to work all 18 days of the fair
Available to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends
Able to attend Mandatory Orientation Session
Special Conditions
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
Must be able to perform in hot weather conditions
Ability to wear a full body character costume; performing in an enclosed costume
