Contract Period: Mid July - September 7th, 2026
Pay Rate: $17.60 / hr

Looking for a summer job that’s fun, by the waterfront and gets you access to one of Toronto’s most iconic events? Come join our team at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE)!
The CNE, often affectionately referred to as The Ex, is Canada’s largest community event and one of the top ten agricultural fairs in North America, attracting approximately 1.6 million visitors annually over the course of its 18-day run. With something for everyone, the CNE offers a wide range of attractions and interactive entertainment experiences including: concerts, midway rides and games, shopping, exhibits, tech and gaming hubs, food and wacky treats!

Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service
Respond to guest online ticketing inquiries via phone, email
Troubleshoot and resolve guest online ticketing issues
Update database and maintain paper records as appropriate
Perform daily office administrative duties and other duties as required
Required Skills
Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally
Good organizational skills
Excellent telephone manner
Proven customer service, troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills
Comfortable working with a variety of computer applications, including Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook and Word
Diplomacy and ability to represent the CNE to corporate clients, guests and partners
Required Qualifications
Available to work the full 18 days of the fair (August 21 - Sept. 7, 2026)
Available to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends, during the period leading up to the CNE
Available to attend Mandatory Orientation Session and Job Specific Training
You have a strong customer service background, the desire to help people, and possess excellent communication skills. You thrive under pressure and are not afraid to deal with conflict
Previous call centre and ticketing experience with large-scale events preferred
Special Conditions
Ability to remain seated or in a stationary position for extended periods of time
May be required to dress in appropriate uniform
