The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board currently has Secondary permanent full time teaching positions available for the 2026-2027 school year. Application for this vacancy is available to individuals on the OECTA Occasional Teachers Roster who hold an Ontario Teacher's Certificate in Good Standing. In accordance with OECTA Central Terms #17 Hiring Practices (a copy can be found in the Google Drive: Occasional Teacher Information Folder); The Board shall interview the three (3) applicants to the position who hold the required qualifications as recorded on the Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification Senior Math and English as a Second Language/Teaching English Language Learners As per 17.7.3 of the OECTA Central Terms #17 Hiring Practices, " In addition to the applicants from the Roster, a school board may choose, as one of the applicants to be interviewed a teacher employed as a permanent teacher elsewhere in the province who has applied for the posting." All applicants have the ability to upload their portfolio to Apply to Education.
