Seniors Centre Manager Department: Health and Community Wellness Employment Status: Full-Time Salary: $36–$48 per hour – 35 hours per week Location: Naughton, ON Closing Date: July 21, 2026 Position Scope The Senior Centre Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, coordination, and evaluation of the Seniors Day Centre and related senior programs. The role ensures the delivery of high-quality, culturally safe, inclusive, and person-centered services that support the health, wellness, independence, and social connection of seniors within the community. Required Qualifications Diploma or degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Health Administration, Recreation, Therapy, Community Services, or a related field. Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in program or service delivery within senior services, health, community‑based, or social support environments. 1‑2 years of supervisory or management experience, including staff oversight, scheduling, and performance management. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the Seniors Centre to ensure a safe, welcoming, culturally respectful, and inclusive environment. Supervise, support, and evaluate staff and volunteers, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance management. Plan, implement, and evaluate seniors programming aligned with community needs and organizational priorities, developing program schedules and activities that promote wellness, independence, social engagement, and active aging. Manage staff and volunteers' workload, task allocation, and performance management.
