About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our finance team in a logistics and freight forwarding company. This is an entry-level position for a candidate eager to build practical accounting skills under the guidance of experienced finance professionals. Key Responsibilities Record supplier invoices and assist with vendor reconciliations Enter financial transactions into the accounting system (invoices, payments, adjustments) Help prepare supporting documentation for VAT, CIT, and payroll-related filings Assist with month-end closing procedures and internal reporting Issue and verify electronic documents via state portals within required deadlines Organize and maintain financial records and archives Coordinate with other departments to collect invoices and supporting documents Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or final-year student) Basic knowledge of Kazakhstan accounting standards and tax legislation is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with 1C or similar accounting software is an advantage Strong English level — mandatory (written and verbal, used daily in team com
