Financial Reporting Systems Project Lead
We’re looking for a Financial Reporting Systems Project Lead to help optimize and modernize MTY’s financial reporting environment.
This is a unique opportunity for a data-driven, tech-savvy finance professional who thrives where accounting, systems, and process improvement meet. In this role, you’ll collaborate with the Accounting, FP&A, and IT teams to enhance system performance, automation, and data accuracy across MTY’s group reporting platforms.
You’ll play a central role in MTY’s finance transformation, helping to design, implement, and maintain modern reporting tools and processes that support our growing global business.
JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, the Financial Analyst – Reporting Systems plays a key role in supporting MTY’s consolidated financial reporting, analysis, and system management.
You’ll take ownership of key components of the group reporting cycle, ensuring data integrity across multiple entities and driving automation, standardization, and process optimization to strengthen both internal management reporting and external financial disclosures.
This role is an opportunity to contribute directly to MTY’s digital finance transformation while building deep expertise in financial systems, consolidation processes, and performance reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in the implementation of SAP Group Reporting, including testing, configuration, and data validation
Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and IT teams to enhance and automate financial reporting tools and workflows
Maintain and improve group reporting structures, hierarchies, and data mapping within SAP Group Reporting and related systems
Develop, update, and maintain process documentation, training materials, and user support for reporting systems
Identify, recommend, and lead process improvement and automation initiatives to increase efficiency, accuracy, and control
Support quarterly and annual group reporting cycles, ensuring timely and accurate consolidated results
Provide hoc analysis and technical support to internal stakeholders throughout the reporting cycle
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, Data Analytics or a related field
3–5 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or systems support
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Group Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar financial consolidation and dashboarding tools
Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI or similar analytics tools
Strong system orientation, with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration skills across finance and IT functions
Exposure to system implementation, process improvement, or automation initiatives
Experience in multi-entity or multi-currency environments as an asset
Curious, adaptable, and proactive, with a passion for leveraging technology to drive improvement
