Scope
We are currently hiring a Building Inspections Manager who will play an integral role within the Planning & Development's Building Division. Reporting to the Director, Building Division, the Building Inspections Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Building Inspections section while leading and managing a team of unionized building officials and inspections staff.
Responsibilities
The Building Inspections Manager is responsible for:
•Ensuring the construction of residential, commercial, institutional and industrial structures and facilities is in conformance with established building, fire, health and safety codes, by-laws and associated standards within the City.
