Established commercial/residential millwork operation serving the local BC market is looking for an experienced Millwork Designer to join our established operation. As a skilled technical specialist you are comfortable taking on the responsibility of collecting and assessing preliminary technical information and producing accurately rendered drawings required for cabinet and millwork manufacturing.
Working as part of a team of fully trained and experienced estimators/project managers and production staff your day to day responsibilities will include:
Create accurate drawings of casework, panels, and other components for commercial/residential millwork in AutoCAD using supplied dimensions, drawings and estimating data.
Ensure that all drawings are kept up to date with correct notations and support docs.
Ensure that all technical drawings and related data are complete, accurate, current, named and stored correctly and suitable for downstream engineering use and automated production.
Adhere to required project specifications, building codes and other industry standards.
Ensure the efficient utilization of software features to full effect to generate efficiencies, minimize duplication
