In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization and as a member of a multidisciplinary team within a person and family centered model of care, the Recreation Therapist works to the established standards of professional practice to provide therapeutic recreation and leisure interventions that address the specific needs of clients/residents either one on one and/or in group settings. The Recreational Therapist participates as an active contributor to the collaborative team process of developing a comprehensive care plan to support the mental, physical, social, and spiritual well-being of clients/residents. The Recreation Therapist performs detailed assessments of the clients'/residents' recreation and leisure needs, abilities, and interests. Plans, creates, and coordinates the delivery of individualized therapeutic recreation care plans and interventions that benefit the clients'/residents' he
