JOB DESCRIPTION
The HR Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Quebec and Canadian employment legislation. This role will partner closely with management and employees to deliver effective HR programs in areas including employee relations, talent management, performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Employee Relations & HR Advisory
Trusted advisor to management and employees on HR policies, practices, and workplace issues.
Support the resolution of employee relations matters, including performance management, attendance management, accommodations, and investigations.
Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies in compliance with Quebec labour standards.
Talent Management
Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
Support talent development initiatives, including performance reviews, coaching, and career development.
Compliance & Employment Legislation
Ensure compliance with Quebec labour laws, including Act respecting labour standards (CNESST), pay equity, employmen
