About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Credit Risk and Approval Specialist. The role is responsible for transactional credit risk management, oversight and portfolio governance. The role covers Corporate and Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, and Commercial Real Estate lending activities within our Americas region risk team.
In this role, you will:
Exercise sound credit judgment and independent risk oversight
by providing credit concurrence within delegated authority limits for lending transactions across Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, and Commercial Real Estate
Serve as a trusted risk partner
to front‑line and control functions, collaborating across the three lines of defense to structure, review, and execute transactions that support client objectives while maintaining strong risk discipline
Provide oversight and governance of credit portfolios
for Branch and non‑Branch legal entities, including portfolio analysis, internal and regulatory reporting, control management, and data and records governance
Lead and support internal and external credit audits
