We're seeking a
Certified Sawfiler
for our
Radium, BC Sawmill
, where you can put your Red Seal ticket to work as you'll bring your knowledge of the Sawfiling trade to oversee the safe maintenance and repair of all sawfiling equipment to maximize uptime, quality and production.
As a Certified Sawfiler, your responsibilities will include:
Inspect, maintain, and repair saw blades to ensure they are in optimal condition for cutting wood efficiently.
Sharpen saw teeth and set blades according to specifications, taking into account the type of wood being processed.
