This role acts as end-to-end lead for regulatory projects, ensuring strong governance, effective controls, and compliance across multiple business units and regulators. It acts as a subject-matter expert and strategic advisor, interpreting regulatory requirements, identifying and mitigating risk exposures, and overseeing complex programs, change initiatives, audits, and examinations within defined risk appetite. The role partners closely with business leaders and 1st and 2nd line functions to embed a strong risk culture, deliver sustainable regulatory outcomes, and continuously enhance governance, monitoring, and control frameworks.
Supports the business/group leader in the effective implementation, maintenance and administration of first line of defense (1st LOD) programs (e.g., operational risk, regulatory, etc.), including overseeing business governance operations within the jurisdiction to ensure adherence and efficiency. Contributes to a strong risk management culture through collaboration with other first line employees, and second & third line functions to ensure Compliance,
