Job DescriptionJob Description
D7 Mechanical LTD and D7 Pneumatics LLC are seeking motivated and safety-oriented Apprentice Fire Sprinkler Fitters who have already completed their first year of trade schooling and accumulated documented field hours toward their apprenticeship. This position offers the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on industrial, commercial, and mechanical projects across both Canada and the United States.
The successful candidate will assist licensed sprinkler fitters with installation, modification, inspection, and maintenance of fire protection systems while continuing to build hours toward journeyperson certification.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with installation of fire sprinkler piping systems in commercial and industrial environments
Support layout, measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and assembly of sprinkler piping
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Assist with system testing, inspections, and troubleshooting
Load, transport, and maintain tools and materials
Maintain clean and safe job sites
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA / provincial safety standards
