Housekeeping is about more than cleaning — it’s about creating a welcoming, safe environment where Residents feel comfortable and cared for. Every task you do helps support dignity and quality of life.
If you were working for us as a Housekeeper, here are some of the things you would have done last week:
Washed and dried Residents’ clothing and linens, ensuring items were returned fresh and in good condition
Disinfected and cleaned to support infection control
Cleaned Residents’ rooms and common areas, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and bathrooms
Followed WHMIS guidelines and safe handling procedures for all cleaning products
Helped maintain a safe environment by adhering to Health & Safety Standards
Worked as part of a supportive team, assisting coworkers and covering shifts as needed (days, evenings, weeke
