Job DescriptionJob Description
We are looking for an experienced
Corporate Paralegal
for our client. This is a full-time, permanent position that is based in the Vancouver area. Our client is a large company providing legal services to businesses based in North America and around the world.
You Have:
3+ years
of related experience
Experience working with
AFL
Familiarity with the incorporation process under the
Corporations Act
as well as experience with public companies and the Securities Act is required
Ability to manage several files at once, a strong sense of planning and organization
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Minute book reviews
Dealing with incorporation's including pre- and post-documentation; extra-provincial registrations across Canada
Reviewing agreements relating to transactions
Determine and draft required documentation
Complete and summarize due diligence searches
Organize and complete closing documentation and closing books
Complete required provincial or federal corporate filings
