Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description
The Production Associate supports high-volume food manufacturing by preparing and handling dough mixtures, supplying production lines, and assisting across departments as needed. This role involves consistent physical activity, working in a cold, fast-paced environment on a quiche production line, and following strict food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The position requires comfort with repetitive tasks, heavy lifting, and working with dough, machinery, and meat-based ingredients.
Responsibilities
Mix and prepare dough mixtures using ingredient bags weighing up to approximately 50 pounds, ensuring correct formulations for production requirements.
Roll out spindles of dough to the specified thickness based on production needs and quality standards.
Roll dough onto spindles and deliver them to line operators, frequently handling loads of approximately 40–50 pounds.
Work as a floater by supporting and training in other areas and departments as required, adapting to changing production priorities.
Operate and work around dough mixing and food manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently.
