REASON TO POST: DIRECT REPLACEMENTWAGE RATE: $41.15 – $58.98
Reporting to the Manager, Occupational Health and Safety, the Occupational Health Nurse delivers occupational health services to promote the health, safety and wellness of individual employees, and the workplace organization. The Nurse recommends and facilitates implementation of workplace surveillance and control measures, and monitors statistics and effectiveness of the workplace health and safety programs, such as Violence Prevention, Wellness Promotion, Return to Work and Attendance Management. This position will work collaboratively with Infection Prevention & Control on the management of outbreaks and exposures.
Skills/Abilities/QualificationsRequired
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario or eligibility
Certified Occupational Health Nurse COHN(c)
Occupational Health Certificate from an accredited college or university, or in progress
