The requirement for this role is a valid driver's license and personal vehicle, with the willingness to travel to various hospital sites within the Pictou County, i.e. Aberdeen Hospital and Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital

Key Responsibilities:
•
Perform patient watch duties as the main area of responsibilities,
including continuous observation to ensure patient's safety and prevent harm. Monitor and report concerns, de-escalate situations calmly, follow clinical direction, document accurately, maintain confidentiality, and provide a respectful, non-invasive presence.

Perform Healthcare Security Officer duties as needed, including:
•
Patrol Hospital Grounds:
Conduct regular rounds of hospital premises, including parking areas, hallways, patient rooms, entrances, and exits, to ensure the safety and security of the site.

Monitor Surveillance Systems:
Operate security cameras and alarm systems, ensuring any suspicious activity is reported immediately to the appropriate authorities.
