We are seeking a
Telecommunications Designer
based remotely in Northern BC (Prince George region preferred) to support ongoing fibre and copper network programs across the region.
To be eligible for this role you must live near the Prince George area as you will need to regularly be on site at projects in the region.
This role combines drafting and detailed design responsibilities and requires a technically strong designer capable of working independently while supporting field validation and construction coordination activities.
The successful candidate will contribute to outside plant (OSP) network design, site assessments, and the preparation of construction-ready documentation supporting regional infrastructure deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed OSP fibre and copper network designs
Prepare construction-ready drawings and documentation
Perform drafting and design activities in support of network deployments
Conduct site visits and field validation to support design accuracy
Coordinate with internal planners, designers, and construction teams
Review and update as-built documentation as required
Support ongoing network expansion and upgrade initiatives across Northern BC
