- This is your chance to gain hands-on field experience supporting the quality and integrity of infrastructure projects across Southwestern Ontario. Based out of our
London, ON
office, you'll support materials testing and inspection that helps shape reliable, safe, and sustainable construction outcomes.
Your Impact

Perform field quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) testing on soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates to support safe and compliant construction.
Conduct soil and asphalt compaction testing to verify adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
Assist with subgrade and footing inspections to ensure foundational elements meet engineering requirements.
Carry out materials testing following CSA, CCIL, and ASTM procedures to support accurate data collection.
Contribute to a strong safety culture by following WSP's field safety protocols.
Support basic equipment maintenance and calibration, ensuring reliable field performance.

You are currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related post-secondary program and eager to apply your learning in real-world field environments.
You're comfortable working outdoors on active construction sites and want to understand how infrastructure is built from the ground up.
You bring curiosity and interest in materials testing, inspection, and laboratory processes.
You're ready to learn recognized testing standards, including CSA, CCIL, and ASTM methods.
You meet all safety requirements and hold a valid driver's licence for travel to project sites.

Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT:
$24.00 - $32.25
MB & ON:
$22.50 - $30.25
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC:
$21.50 - $30.25
