General Manager – Central Alberta Amazons Junior Female Hockey Team
The Central Alberta Amazons are seeking an organized, passionate, and community-minded
General Manager
to support the operation and success of our Junior Female Hockey Team. The General Manager serves as the primary liaison between the team and the Amazons Director, providing leadership and oversight for team operations throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the direct link between the Head Coach, Team Manager, team staff, and the Amazons Director.
Oversee team operations, administration, and season planning.
Assist with player recruitment, evaluations, and roster management.
Support team budgeting, fundraising, sponsorship, and special events.
Ensure compliance with Hockey Alberta, league, and organization requirements.
Provide leadership and support to team staff and volunteers.
Promote a positive, athlete-centered culture that supports player development and team success.
We’re Looking For
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience in hockey administration, team management, or leadership roles is an asset
Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, players, parents, and volunteers
Passion for supporting female hockey and athlete development
Commitment to professionalism, accountability, and teamwork
The General Manager reports directly to the Central Alberta Amazons Director and plays a vital role in the growth and sustainability of the program.
